Nedbank is seeking a senior executive to lead the Investor Services Custody product franchise, defining strategy, roadmap and delivery across SA and Africa. You will drive client-centric propositions, pricing, governance and cross-functional collaboration to grow the NIS portfolio while ensuring operational resilience and regulatory alignment.

As the senior product authority, you will partner with Coverage, Operations, Technology and Risk to translate client needs into scalable capabilities,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Law or related field.
• +15 years' experience within custody, securities services, post-trade services or related institutional banking products.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in banking, custody, securities services or related environments.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute the strategic direction for the Custody Product franchise.
• Establish product vision, strategy and medium-to-long-term roadmap for custody proposition in SA and Africa.
• Own the Custody Product roadmap and sponsor development, enhancement and modernisation of custody capabilities.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear business requirements and investment cases.
• Partner with Technology, Operations and enabling functions to modernise product architecture and operating model.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve scalability and client experience.
• Build partnerships across Transactional Services, Coverage, Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk and Compliance.
• Represent the Custody Product franchise in senior governance forums and external industry forums.
