Job summary

Nedbank is seeking a senior technology architect to own the evolution of multiple assets and influence the health of the portfolio. You will lead on COEs, provide guidance to stakeholders and shape technical roadmaps.

You will collaborate with domain architects and engineering leadership, drive risk mitigation, implement patterns and standards, mentor others, and stay current with industry developments to support Nedbank's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Min 8 years IT experience with 5 years in relevant technologies or domains.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, data warehousing and IT architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of multiple assets within the domain and drive health of the portfolio.
• Guide design, analysis and integration to apply technology effectively.
• Conduct technology reviews of code and design quality assurance.
• Define and review patterns, practices and standards in technology use.
• Collaborate with domain architects and engineering leads on roadmaps.
• Mentor and coach others within area of expertise and participate in knowledge sharing.
