Job summary

Smith Garb in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to supervise the credit control team, manage customer portfolios and ensure timely collections. You will maintain customer records and open new accounts, while supporting reconciliations and month-end processes.

You will contribute to the broader finance function with accuracy and professionalism, bringing hospitality/club environment experience as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Diploma or certificate in bookkeeping, credit control, or related field advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in credit control, including a Senior Credit Controller role.
• Strong knowledge of the full credit control function.
• Previous supervisory experience is essential.
• Experience in hospitality, club or membership environment advantageous.
• Experience with Jonas Club Management software beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the credit control team and related processes.
