Placements24 invites applications for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our clients' legal team in Midrand. The role focuses on providing comprehensive corporate and commercial support across business units, advising on governance, contracts, and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate agreements, conduct due diligence on transactions, manage disputes, and help shape policy to minimize risk. A minimum of 5 years post-admission as an attorney in SA is expected.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years post-admission experience.
• Experience in corporate law, commercial contract negotiation, and general commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of South African corporate law and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with a minimum of 5 years post-admission experience.
• Proven experience in corporate law, commercial contract negotiation, and general commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of South African corporate law, company secretarial duties, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and drafting skills.
