Placements24 in Vereeniging seeks a Senior Corporate Attorney to lead the in‑house legal team, steering governance, compliance and complex transactional matters for a major industrial player.

You will advise the board and executives on risk, manage external counsel, develop corporate policies, and drive strategic litigation and contracts with autonomy and high impact within Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in corporate law.
• Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities law.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing legal teams or departments.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
