Job summary

JVR Software is seeking a senior conveyancing specialist in Roodepoort to manage complex files from instruction to registration and to coordinate property transfers and bond activities. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in conveyancing within a law firm.
• Experience in property transfers, bond registrations and cancellations.
• Excellent communication and client liaison abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing files from instruction to registration.
• Attend to property transfers, bond registrations and bond cancellations.
• Prepare, draft and process conveyancing documentation accurately.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, bond originators, financial institutions, the Deeds Office and other relevant stakeholders.
• Obtain and follow up on guarantees, rates clearance certificates, levy clearance certificates and other required documentation.
• Attend to FICA documentation, compliance requirements and client verification.
• Monitor registration progress, manage deadlines and provide regular updates to clients.
• Arrange signatures and coordinate the signing of conveyancing documents.
• Attend to Deeds Office queries, rejections and outstanding requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical files and ensure the smooth administration of all matters.
