Job summary

Greys Recruitment seeks an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a convenience store/forecourt retail environment in South Africa.

You will lead, motivate and develop a team of supervisors and staff, drive sales through merchandising and promotions, manage stock and cash handling, and ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and company policies.

This role requires strong leadership, budgeting skills, and a customer-focused approach to achieve profitability.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) completed.
• Tertiary qualification in Retail or Business Management is advantageous.
• 3-5 years' experience managing a retail store or forecourt retail environment.
• Experience in fuel retail industry is advantageous.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, GP margins and stock control.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Sound knowledge of merchandising principles and retail operations.
• Computer literacy with experience using retail POS and stock management systems.

Responsibilities
