Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
Proven experience with major PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric) and SCADA/HMI software.
Strong understanding of industrial networking, instrumentation, and process control principles.
Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; team collaboration in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for mining and processing applications.
Develop and maintain control system software, including programming, testing, and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
Develop and implement strategies for optimizing automated processes for efficiency, safety, and performance.
Manage control system hardware and software lifecycle, including upgrades and replacements.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams, as well as operations personnel, to define automation requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators.
Stay abreast of new technologies in industrial automation and control systems.
Develop and manage budgets for control system projects and maintenance.
