Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables Southern Africa is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the contract management workstream across wind, PV and energy storage projects. You will ensure HSE, budget, schedule and performance criteria are met, negotiating complex agreements with contractors and suppliers.

You will interact with business, technical, execution, financing and management teams from multiple locations, reporting to the Legal Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in contracts management for large wind, PV or energy storage projects.
Ability to understand and analyse non-contractual matters such as engineering, cost control, planning and construction to provide contractual support.
Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall Contract Management Workstream of the project portfolio.
Ensure successful preparation and execution of projects in terms of HSE, budget, schedule and performance criteria.
Negotiate contracts with Contractors after award and manage contractual risk across projects.
Lead and direct all contractual aspects of executing projects including risk assessment and stakeholder management.
Interface with senior management, finance and legal teams to meet project deliverables.
