Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables Southern Africa is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the contract management workstream for its wind, PV and energy storage projects. You will interact with business, technical, execution, financing and management teams across locations and with 3rd parties.

The role requires autonomy, accountability, and business travel; you will negotiate contracts, monitor progress against schedule and budget, and ensure HSE KPIs are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with large wind, PV or energy storage projects.
• Experience with interaction with ESKOM on self-built projects preferred.
• Certification in Contracts Management recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall Contract Managing Workstream for project portfolios.
• Ensure successful project execution in terms of HSE, budget, time schedule and quality.
• Negotiate contracts with Contractors after award.
• Monitor invoices and payments with Owners' Engineer and settlement systems.
• Coordinate with senior management, finance and legal teams.
