Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, registered healthcare professional to manage Deloitte Africa's Employee Wellbeing Programme and Employee Recognition Programme, while contributing to enhancing our inclusive and high-performance culture.

As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will design, implement and continuously enhance wellbeing, recognition and employee experience initiatives that support employee health, engagement, belonging and organisational effectiveness across the Africa Member Firm.

This role requires a proactive, innovative and solutions-oriented professional who can work independently, build strong stakeholder relationships, translate data and insights into meaningful interventions, and drive initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

We are looking for a dynamic and technically astute healthcare practitioner skilled in developing and implementing Culture & Wellness strategies based on business unit needs. In this role you will craft initiatives to drive Employee Wellness and employee engagement initiatives across the firm. Technical experience across various industries is essential to success in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Wellbeing

• Manage and continuously enhance Deloitte Africa's Employee Wellbeing Programme.
• Design and deliver wellbeing initiatives aligned to business needs and global priorities.
• Manage wellbeing service providers and grow the Wellbeing Warrior Network.
• Provide employee wellbeing support through psychosocial assessment, intervention, referral, risk identification and case management.
• Analyse wellbeing data and trends to inform interventions and programme improvements.
• Design and implement wellbeing initiatives aligned to business needs and global priorities

Employee Experience, Culture & Recognition

• Manage the Deloitte ImpACT recognition programme and related recognition initiatives.
• Facilitate culture and team effectiveness interventions.
• Analyse employee feedback and engagement data to identify opportunities and improve employee experience.
• Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to enhance employee wellbeing, recognition and organisational culture.

Stakeholder Management & Governance

• Build trusted relationships across the firm and act as a subject matter expert on employee wellbeing, recognition and culture.
• Develop effective communication campaigns to facilitate awareness programme buy-in.
• Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to enhance employee wellbeing, recognition and organisational culture.
• Contribute to policy development, governance and compliance related to wellbeing programmes.
• Drive innovative and evidence-based approaches to wellbeing and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration as an Industrial Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist or Registered Counsellor; or SACSSP registration as a Registered Social Worker.
• Relevant qualification aligned to professional registration requirements.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in managing employee wellbeing, workplace mental health, employee experience, employee engagement or organisational culture.
• Experience facilitating training, workshops and awareness initiatives.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and project management capability.
