Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee critical construction projects in Port Elizabeth. You will lead and coordinate construction teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain control over timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes on site.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of site management experience, a relevant degree, and a deep understanding of safety protocols in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in construction site management and project execution.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all construction activities on site, ensuring projects are executed according to plans and specifications.
• Develop and implement detailed project schedules and manage resource allocation to meet deadlines.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site.
• Coordinate and manage the performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality assurance checks, and progress reporting.
• Address and resolve site-related issues and challenges efficiently to maintain project continuity.
