Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Planner to support projects across Benoni and the broader Gauteng region. You will develop and manage comprehensive construction schedules, optimize resource allocation, and sequence activities to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, 7+ years of planning experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed master schedules for complex construction projects using P6 or similar software.
• Analyze project requirements and constraints to create logical sequencing of construction activities.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather input and ensure the accuracy and feasibility of the construction plan.
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and risks, and develop proactive solutions.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, analyze variances, and report on schedule performance.
• Develop 'what-if' scenarios and provide schedule impact assessments for proposed changes.
• Ensure effective communication of the project schedule to all stakeholders.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and analytical Senior Construction Planner to join their dynamic team, supporting projects across Benoni and the wider Gauteng region.
