Placements24 in Mpumalanga is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead large-scale industrial facility projects in Nelspruit. You will oversee mobilization to handover, manage safety, quality, and delivery, and guide multi-disciplinary teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of industrial construction experience, and professional registration is desirable.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a focus on industrial facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction activities on large-scale industrial projects from mobilization to handover.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans, schedules, resource allocation and site logistics.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards on site.
• Lead site teams including foremen, supervisors, and subcontractors with a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Monitor progress against schedule and budget and implement corrective actions.
• Manage interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, project engineers and regulators to achieve project objectives.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and construction drawings for compliance.
• Manage site procurement of materials and equipment and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve site-based issues and disputes promptly and effectively.
