Job summary

RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable building contractor in Cape Town, seeks an experienced Senior Construction Foreman to lead day-to-day site activities, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and workmanship of commercial projects.

You will manage labour, subcontractors and suppliers, read drawings, supervise progress, and coordinate deliveries. A National Diploma in Building and 10–15 years of foreman experience are required; valid driver's license is essential. Salary R600K–R720K CTC annually.

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Manage site labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate material deliveries and site resources to support efficient project execution.
• Liaise with the site management team to resolve construction issues and maintain project progress.
• Maintain accurate site records and report on project progress.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building or related qualifications
• Minimum 10-15 years' experience as a Construction Foreman within the building construction industry.
• Proven commercial construction experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's licence.

Benefits:

Salary: R600K - R720K CTC per annum, negotiable
