Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Construction Contracts Manager to lead all contractual activities for major construction projects in a fully remote role. You will draft, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring legal compliance and policy alignment.

The role requires deep construction law knowledge and strategic oversight. You will oversee claims, variations, and contract governance, providing guidance to project teams and senior management,

Qualifications

• Law degree or a bachelor’s in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction contract management, with negotiation and administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.
• Proven ability to manage complex contractual issues and disputes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills for remote interaction.
• Experience with project management and contract management software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex construction contracts, including subcontracts, consultancy agreements, and supply contracts.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle from procurement through to close-out, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Administer contract terms, monitor performance, and resolve disputes or claims effectively.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters to project teams and senior management.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of claims and variations in accordance with contractual provisions.
