Old Mutual Limited in Johannesburg is seeking a Financial Accountant within the Group Financial Control team. The role focuses on consolidation, IFRS reporting, and effective business partnering across OML Group.

You will prepare and review consolidation inputs, explain complex issues to senior management, and drive improvements in the reporting cycle, ensuring compliance with Companies Act and JSE Listings Requirements.

Formación

• Chartered Accountant qualification required with SAICA/CA(SA) recognition.
• Experience with IFRS, Companies Act and JSE Listings Requirements is expected.
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and/or review consolidation inputs and outputs for OMLAC (SA) and/or OML consolidation per IFRS and Group policies.
• Interpret and explain financial issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage inter-company eliminations and consolidation journals; support external reporting processes.
• Lead analytics, drafting of notes, and disclosure management for interim and annual financial statements.
• Drive continuous improvements in the consolidation process and reporting cycles.
