Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant within the Shareholder Finance team in Wealth Life. The role partners with multiple stakeholders, overseeing governance and delivering accurate financial, management, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities include assessing financial results with insightful commentary, implementing automation, strengthening internal controls, and supporting audits and planning cycles to drive performance.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with 2–5 years post-article experience
• Experience in financial services
• IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 knowledge advantageous
• HFM experience desirable
• Strong Excel skills and Power BI familiarity

Responsabilités

• Ensure timely delivery of financial, management and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare management reports with commentary on financial results.
• Drive automation of reporting processes and implement improvements.
• Maintain internal controls and reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits and assist in business planning.
