Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Concept Artist, focusing on environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of perspective, composition, lighting, color theory and architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for game environments, including landscapes, architecture, and props.
• Develop visual treatments, mood boards, and color palettes to establish the aesthetic direction.
• Collaborate with art directors to define visual style of the game worlds.
• Mentor junior concept artists and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in concept art and environmental design.
• Translate narrative and gameplay requirements into visually engaging environmental designs.
• Explore design options and present compelling visual solutions.
• Maintain a high level of artistic quality and consistency throughout the project.
