Collaboration with art directors and cross-functional teams is essential. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in games, a strong portfolio, and expertise in digital painting tools like Photoshop or Procreate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the video game industry as a concept artist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with digital painting tools such as Photoshop or Procreate.
• Experience collaborating with art directors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, creatures, vehicles, and props.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and modelers to maintain visual consistency.
• Explore multiple directions and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Develop sketches, illustrations, and color studies to communicate ideas.
• Contribute to world-building and aesthetic development for games.
• Mentor junior artists and stay current with industry trends.
• Maintain strong understanding of target audience and market needs.
• Help create mood boards and visual targets for the art team.
