The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience, exceptional drawing and digital painting skills, and fluency with Photoshop/Procreate. Remote collaboration and strong communication are essential for success in this globally distributed studio.

This position is integral to the foundational visual development of new projects, envisioning characters, environments, props, and overall mood. You will be instrumental in translating abstract ideas into tangible visual concepts that inspire and guide the broader art and design teams. Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling and diverse concept art for characters, environments, props, and vehicles.
• Collaborate closely with directors, art directors, and other stakeholders to define and iterate on visual ideas.
• Develop mood boards, color palettes, and detailed visual explorations.
• Produce high-quality illustrations and sketches that effectively communicate design intent.
• Ensure concepts align with project narratives, themes, and technical requirements.
• Contribute to the overall art direction and visual language of projects.
• Mentor junior concept artists and share knowledge and techniques.
• Stay informed about industry trends, art history, and new artistic methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of styles and subjects.
• Exceptional drawing, painting, and digital art skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or similar.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, color theory, and lighting.
• Experience designing for film, television, or video games is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly on designs.
• Familiarity with 3D concepting tools (e.g., Blender, ZBrush) is a strong plus.
