Job summary

FNB is seeking a Senior Compliance Project Manager in Johannesburg to coordinate cross‑functional teams and deliver complex projects on time, within budget and scope. The role requires strong governance, risk management and adherence to regulatory requirements within Payments programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project delivery, 3–5 years in agile and waterfall, plus CAPM/PMP certification and a background in regulatory compliance for payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing medium to complex projects affecting multiple systems and teams.
• 3–5 years’ experience in an agile and waterfall environment.
• Compliance & Payments experience.
• CAPM or PMP or any project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate people and processes and drive business change within scope, time and budget constraints.
• Initiate and manage the planning process with clearly defined scope, goals and objectives.
• Manage project resources (people, procurement, systems, time and budget) through the full lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate project teams across levels and phases of the project life cycle (and SDLC).
• Ensure governance, quality and deliverables while complying with relevant regulations and policies; advise on regulatory changes.
