Job summary

FNB South Africa is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate complex changes across multiple systems and teams within a regulated banking environment.

You will lead planning, resource management and SDLC governance, balancing time, cost and scope while delivering value. A CAPM/PMP or equivalent certification and 5+ years in managing medium-to-complex projects, including agile and waterfall, are essential. Relevant compliance and payments experience is required.

Qualifications

• CAPM, PMP or any project management certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing medium to complex projects.
• 3-5 years experience in an agile and waterfall environment.
• Compliance & Payments experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate people and processes and drive business change delivering value through structured implementation and delivery of projects against time, resource, budget, and scope constraints for medium to large and/or medium to highly complex BU/PH.
• Initiate and manage the planning process, clearly defining the project's scope, goals, and objectives. Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables, creating a solid foundation for project execution.
• Manage project resources (including people, procurement, systems, time and budget) from the initiation of an identified project to the end of the defined project lifecycle or process in order to deliver on project goals and objective.
• Manage complex projects in a constantly changing environment.
• Motivate and lead project teams across various levels and various phases of a project life cycle and SDLC.
• Manage conflicting priorities and time effectively to deliver results.
• Leading numerous projects concurrently ensuring quality, governance and deliverables are adhered to.
• Ensures financial institution adheres to all relevant regulations and policies.
• Oversee compliance Payments programs, conduct risk assessments, monitor Acquiring compliance activities.
• Advise on Visa, Mastercard, UPI PASA and SARB regulatory changes.
