Bonafide Human Capital (Pty) Ltd is assisting a well-known Commercial dealership client in finding an experienced Manager: New Vehicle Sales (Commercial Truck Sales Manager) to lead their sales team across the Western Cape, Cape Town area.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on sales leader who develops people, drives performance and builds long-term customer relationships. Previous commercial vehicle experience is not essential, as full product and industry training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse performance and implement corrective action when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage a team of commercial vehicle sales executives
• Drive daily sales activity, prospecting, customer visits and pipeline management
• Ensure sales executives achieve their activity, volume and profitability targets
• Coach and support the team throughout the sales process and assist in closing key deals
• Develop and maintain relationships with fleet owners, transport operators and key decision-makers
• Manage vehicle stock, order books and sales forecasts
• Work closely with the Dealer Principal to develop sales strategies and growth initiatives
• Monitor e‑Toyota usage, reporting, customer follow-up and overall sales discipline
• Ensure exceptional customer service and customer retention
• Recruit, train and develop sales staff where required
