Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 5 years in cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

About the Role

Our client, a leading enterprise solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . This critical role will involve designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud infrastructures for a variety of clients. You will be the primary technical advisor, guiding clients through their cloud adoption journey, architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure, coupled with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, storage, compute, and database services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Experience in a client-facing consulting role is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
