Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Mahikeng team. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure with emphasis on security, reliability, and performance. You will automate processes, deploy applications, and maintain cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP, with IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.

A 5+ year track record and hands-on container experience are required. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and IaC tools.
