Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead civil infrastructure projects in Kimberley. You will oversee design review, execution, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination to deliver roads, water, and sanitation schemes on time and within budget. The role requires a strong technical background, proven leadership, and at least seven years of relevant experience, with Pr. Eng./Pr.

Tech Eng. registration with ECSA preferred. Local government project exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional registration (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. Eng.) with ECSA is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management and design.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects such as roads, water, or wastewater systems.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and review process for civil infrastructure projects.
• Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of construction activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and project risks proactively.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
