Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Civil Engineer in Durban who specialises in water and sanitation projects. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with remote flexibility to design, plan and implement critical water supply and wastewater infrastructure for the community.

You will engage with clients and regulators, prepare design reports, and oversee construction to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, contributing to public health and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an approved institution.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or progress towards it is desirable.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design water distribution networks, sewage systems, and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and sanitation systems.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
