Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead large-scale infrastructure projects from concept to delivery for South Africa, with a home-office setup and a focus on Cape Town operations.

The role demands 10+ years in civil design, Pr.Eng. registration or eligibility, and expertise in Civil 3D, Bentley, HEC-RAS, plus strong virtual leadership to coordinate remote teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Pr.Eng. registration with ECSA or eligible for immediate registration.
• Over 10 years' experience in civil engineering design, project management and site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of major civil infrastructure projects including transport, water and site development.
• Prepare and review design reports, drawings, specs, and tender documents.
• Perform advanced analyses: hydraulic modeling, structural analysis, and traffic simulations.
