Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Civil Engineer to serve as a Project Manager in Paarl, Western Cape. You will lead diverse infrastructure projects, plan and deliver on time, within scope and budget, and coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in PM roles, and strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is a significant advantage.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or Professional Construction Manager (Pr. CM) with ECSA registration is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Oversee execution, monitor progress and manage risks and issues.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, specs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project finances including budgeting, cost control and reporting.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, clients and stakeholders.
