You will lead synthesis, characterization, process development, and collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with 6+ years in R&D and strong analytical instrumentation

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in chemical R&D with a focus on scale-up.
• Proven track record in chemical synthesis and process optimization.
• Expertise in analytical instrumentation (GC-MS, HPLC, NMR).
• Strong understanding of pilot plant operations and manufacturing challenges.
• Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects focused on developing novel chemical compounds and materials.
• Design and execute experiments for process development and optimization from lab scale to pilot plant.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques for characterization of chemical products.
• Scale up processes, identifying and mitigating manufacturing challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, patent applications, and research publications.
