Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with specialty chemicals manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in chemical plants.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Develop and implement process improvements and modifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations and company policies.
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and risk assessments for new and existing processes.
• Prepare technical documentation, including operating procedures, P&IDs, and process reports.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and maintenance teams to support product scale-up and process implementation.
• Manage small to medium-sized process improvement projects.
