Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in chemical process development, scale-up, and manufacturing.
• Expertise in process simulation software and data analytics.
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) and HAZOP studies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing complex process development, optimization, and scale-up initiatives, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with R&D, and act as a technical authority, driving innovation and continuous improvement in the chemical manufacturing operations. This is a hybrid role, balancing on-site engagement with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of new chemical processes and modifications to existing ones.
• Conduct in-depth process analysis, simulation, and optimization studies to enhance yield and reduce costs.
• Oversee pilot plant operations and manage the scale-up of processes from lab to commercial production.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of chemical engineers.
• Ensure all processes comply with stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
