Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years in chemical process design, optimization, and project management.
• Expertise in thermodynamic modeling, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, Pro/II) and leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of process safety principles and HAZOP studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of process improvements to boost efficiency and cut costs.
• Use advanced process modeling and simulations to predict and optimize behavior.
• Conduct root cause analyses for process upsets and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee pilot plant trials and scale-up activities for new or modified processes.
• Collaborate with automation and control teams to improve stability and response.
• Ensure all changes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Mentor a team of chemical engineers and technicians for continuous improvement.
