Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Senior Cashier for the Somerset Mall Store. You will support customer service at the point of sale and ensure a world-class shopping experience.

You will record customer transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system, uphold company policies, and maintain zero tolerance toward inaccuracies and fraud risk. Responsibilities

• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Process all purchases and payments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons).
• Process loyalty cards for accelerator partners.
• Ensure cash is placed in the drop safe and secure at all times.
• Handle returns and exchanges as authorised by supervision.
• Maintain accuracy in transactions and protect from fraud.
