Applicants should have 10–15 years of capital project management experience in mining, strong planning and scheduling skills, and proven ability to manage budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years' experience managing capital projects.
• Mining or mineral processing environment experience.
• Experience from concept through to completion.
• Strong planning, scheduling and execution skills.
• MHSA knowledge and safety compliance.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Experience managing consultants, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital projects from concept through to successful completion.
• Develop and implement project strategies, plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, performance and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, financial performance and commercial deliverables.
• Oversee project contracts and ensure effective contractual compliance.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues.
• Engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project reports, performance updates and relevant documentation.
• Ensure effective project governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead, coordinate and develop project team members.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and all applicable legislation.
• Maintain quality assurance standards throughout all project phases.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned.
• Ensure all required project close-out documentation and deliverables are completed.
