Qualifications

• 3/4-year software development degree or equivalent
• 8+ years in a business analysis/product owner role
• Experience designing custom software solutions using agile methodologies
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with clients at all levels
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to meet business needs
• Proficiency in translating complex business requirements into IT solutions
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience in vendor management and/off-the-shelf system selection or implementation
• Experience in consultancy environments interacting directly with clients

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients in an advisory capacity
• Design and implement solutions matching business requirements, from off-the-shelf to bespoke applications
• Run workshops to elicit requirements and use cases
• Develop product backlog and draft user stories
• Develop business cases and scope projects
• Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver IT projects
• Monitor progress, risks and mitigation plans
• Coordinate budgets, scope, deliverables and success criteria
• Coordinate UAT, change management and training to maximize adoption
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team
• Collaborate on internal initiatives to grow the consulting practice

Education

Software development orientated 3/4-year degree or equivalent

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Strong documentation skills

Ability to multitask

Experience in vendor management
