Qualifikationen

• Proven Oracle EBS R12 implementation and support experience.
• Experience in system design and application configuration.
• Strong financial background with knowledge of financial reporting.
• Experience with Oracle modules and business processes.
• Project management experience.

Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst. Functional Configuration Specialist to bridge the gap between financial operations and technology solutions. The role will focus on analysing, designing, configuring and implementing IT systems and business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, maintain data integrity and support strategic business objectives within a highly regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse business information requirements and translate them into effective system and functional specifications.
• Evaluate existing systems and business processes to identify shortcomings and opportunities for improvement.
• Assess potential application solutions to determine suitability, functionality and compatibility with existing systems.
• Design, configure and implement application solutions, including internally developed systems and software packages.
• Lead and manage application projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with specifications, architectural standards and project timelines.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, business process specifications and supporting procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and other stakeholders to align technology solutions with operational requirements.
• Support the implementation and rollout of new systems and projects in collaboration with operational teams.
• Engage with senior finance stakeholders to understand financial reporting requirements and support effective system solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BSc in Computer Science, a Finance-related degree or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years' experience in Business or Systems Analysis.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or FMCG business environment and associated business processes.
• Proven Oracle EBS R12 implementation and support experience.
• Experience in system design and application configuration.
• Strong financial background, including an understanding of company financial results and reporting.
• Experience in the Oracle modules and business processes.
• Project management experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and financial interpretation skills, with excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement capabilities. They should be comfortable engaging with CFOs, Financial Managers and Accountants, translating complex business requirements into practical technology solutions. Strong teamwork, training, planning and organisational skills, together with the ability to manage projects and consistently meet deadlines, are essential.
