Job summary

Datacentrix seeks a Senior Business Analyst with Finance, Procurement and Oracle EBS R12 expertise to join its Corporate IT environment. You will bridge finance operations and technology, translating complex requirements into effective system solutions.

Working with CFOs and senior finance stakeholders, you will lead process improvements, configure solutions, train users and ensure data integrity and compliance across Procure-to-Pay, GL, and other modules.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or finance-related degree with strong business and systems analysis background.
• 10+ years of Business and Systems Analysis experience.
• Deep understanding of Finance and Procurement processes.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG or Manufacturing environments.
• Proven Oracle EBS R12 implementation and support experience.
• Strong financial background with ability to interpret company results.
• Experience engaging with CFOs, Financial Managers and Accountants.
• Strong system design and functional configuration experience.
• Proficient in Procure-to-Pay, Trade Marketing, Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, GL Wand and Report Wand, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, e-Business Tax.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business information requirements and translate them into effective system requirements.
• Assess utilisation and effectiveness of current systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate potential application solutions for suitability and compatibility with existing systems.
• Develop clear business and functional specifications.
• Configure and implement application solutions including packaged software.
• Lead and manage application projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure project delivery meets specifications, standards and plans.
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to automate processes.
• Develop and maintain system and business process documentation.
• Support rollout and implementation of new systems with operational teams.
• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Finance and Procurement.
• Ensure data integrity, system reliability and governance compliance.

Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Finance, Procurement and Oracle EBS R12? Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a highly skilled Functional Configuration Specialist to join its Corporate IT environment and act as the critical link between financial operations and technology. You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders to analyse business requirements, improve and automate processes, configure effective system solutions and ensure applications remain reliable, compliant and aligned with business objectives

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Finance-related degree, or equivalent qualification
• 10+ years’ experience in Business and Systems Analysis
• Strong understanding of Finance and Procurement business processes
• Experience within the Pharmaceutical, FMCG or Manufacturing environment
• Proven Oracle EBS R12 implementation and support experience
