This role is pivotal in leading the design and execution of a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for new builds and renovations, from initial concept sketches to detailed construction documentation.
• Manage and mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progression.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, zoning laws, and environmental standards in Pretoria, Gauteng .
• Develop and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, clearly articulating design intent and solutions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise.
• Oversee the preparation of tender documentation and assist in the tender evaluation process.
• Uphold the firm's commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and innovation in all projects.
• Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices within the practice.

Requirements

• A professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in architectural practice, with a strong focus on building design.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is mandatory.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building technologies.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality architectural designs is required.
