Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery. Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design strategies and identify potential challenges. Incorporate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies into all projects. Mentor junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations in Johannesburg and other project locations. Manage client relationships, presenting design proposals and addressing feedback effectively.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Professional registration with the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a proven track record in sustainable urban development projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building physics, material science, and sustainable construction practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
