Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Bridge Engineer for a fully remote role. You will lead conceptualization, design, and oversight of bridge construction and rehabilitation projects, coordinating with a virtual team and ensuring adherence to top engineering standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural/Bridge), Pr.Eng. registration, and 10+ years of bridge design and project management experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural or Bridge Engineering.
• Pr.Eng. registration with ECSA.
• 10+ years of dedicated bridge engineering design and project management experience.
• Experience with advanced bridge analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of bridge types for new construction and rehabilitation.
• Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, specs and contract documents.
• Use advanced bridge software (MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, LUSAS) for modeling and analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior bridge engineers.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and provide construction support as needed.
