Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Pr Eng registration is mandatory.

• Master's degree with a bridge specialization is preferred.

• Proven expertise in structural analysis software for bridges.

• In-depth knowledge of bridge construction methods and materials; seismic design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of beam, arch, suspension, and cable-stayed bridges.
• Perform detailed analyses including dead, live, wind, and seismic loads.
• Utilize MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, and LUSAS for modeling and analysis.
• Prepare design reports, construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with SANS, AASHTO, and other codes; collaborate remotely.
• Review contractor submittals and provide expert technical recommendations.
