Job summary

Top Talent Professional Service in Klerksdorp is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a large branch across the full parcel lifecycle. You will drive operations, service delivery, route planning, fleet utilisation, budgets and governance, and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.

The role requires a Grade 12 and a relevant diploma/degree in Supply Chain or Logistics, plus a minimum of 3 years in a senior branch management role overseeing 250+ staff and 56+ vehicles.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric).
• Relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Branch Manager 2 role or an equivalent operational management role.
• Proven experience managing a large branch environment with a headcount of 250+ employees and a fleet size of 56+ vehicles.
• Experience managing the full parcel lifecycle within a logistics, courier, distribution or branch operations environment.
• Experience managing operational budgets, branch KPIs, service levels, fleet utilisation, labour controls and outsourced resources.
• Experience leading large operational teams, including performance management, labour cost control and succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the branch operations to meet SLA targets and budgets.
• Drive route planning, fleet utilisation and safety measures.
• Ensure governance, risk management and ISO standards compliance.
• Manage people, performance, coaching and succession planning.
• Prepare and review branch reports, budgets and KPIs for leadership review.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to maintain service levels and resolve issues.
