Qualifications

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric).
• Studying towards a relevant supply chain management / logistics diploma or similar.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a Branch Manager 1 role or equivalent.
• Experience in managing 2–3 types of freight products.
• Intermediate costing & budgeting knowledge.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of labour legislation (BCEA, NBCRFLI collective agreements).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day branch operations across the parcel cycle to improve productivity.
• Develop and manage the branch operations plan and KPIs within budget.
• Ensure optimal fleet usage and route planning to maximise efficiency.
• Monitor KPI reports and adjust resources to meet targets.
• Oversee governance, risk, and health and safety in the branch.
• Lead client implementations and maintain stakeholder relationships.
