Job summary

Psybergate is seeking an experienced Java developer to design and implement scalable workflow solutions. You will work with BPM technologies like Camunda or IBM BPM/BAW, model workflows with BPMN 2.0, and build REST APIs and microservices in Java 11+ and Spring Boot.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers, contribute to AI-enabled workflow optimisations, and ensure deployments are robust across environments. Strong debugging and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of software development with Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices.
• 5+ years of practical experience in business process analysis and workflow/BPM technologies.
• Hands-on with IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda 7/8 and BPMN 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software solutions from detailed technical designs.
• Build and maintain Java-based services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices for workflow solutions.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant components for large systems.
• Model workflows using Camunda/IBM BPM and BPMN 2.0.
• Integrate workflows with UIs and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers and Leads.
• Create deployment artefacts and manage deployments.
