Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a senior BPM developer in Johannesburg with 10+ years of BPM product experience to design and deliver scalable automation solutions. You will own coding, testing, and integration tasks across multiple teams, ensuring reliable production deployments.

The role requires strong BPM/BAW knowledge and the ability to code BPM solutions; Java skills are advantageous and collaboration with IBM PMRs is expected. Banking sector exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years experience with BPM products.
• Production environment experience; banking sector exposure beneficial.
• Experience with technical platforms and development problems.
• Strong BPM/BAW product knowledge.
• Knowledge of BPM code and ability to code solutions using BPM.
• Java coding knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BPM solutions that drive business growth.
• Write and test code.
• Execute automated testing.
• Design and integrate solutions via automation and third-party software.
• Coordinate with IBM PMRs on requests and changes.
• Implement changes based on Journey squad updates.
• Maintain environment stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot using severity processes to ensure system availability.
• Collaborate with product teams across multiple groups to deliver components.
• Assess impact of code on hardware and network for performance.
• Consult on complex problems across development, implementation and operation.

• Landed couple of projects into a production environment. (Within a banking industry will be advantageous)
• Dealt with technical platforms as well as development-related problems.
• Good knowledge of BPM/BAW as a product
• Good Knowledge of BPM code and ability to code solutions using BPM.
• Java coding language and ability to code will be advantageous.

• Run with and action PMRs with IBM
• Run with Changes required based on Journey squad changes.
• Manage and ensure the stability of the environment.
• Participate in problem-solving through severity processes to ensure system availability.
• Work across multiple teams to deliver software components while working in collaboration with the product team
• Have Good understanding the impact of your code to hardware and network for better- performing solutions.
• Consult on complex problems arising during development, implementation, post implementation and operational cycle.
