Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in bookkeeping, accounting or finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3-5 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to maintain a complete set of books up to trial balance.
• Working knowledge of South African VAT and payroll-related statutory requirements.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage Pastel, Sage Accounting, Xero or QuickBooks. Our system is Sage Pastel.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliations, formulas and working with financial data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
