Job summary

FROGG Recruitment is seeking a Bookkeeper in Stellenbosch with 3-4 years’ experience to take the books to Trial Balance using Sage Pastel, manage debtors and creditors, handle VAT calculations, and assist with payroll on Sage.

The role reports to the accountant and offers a negotiable salary with a hybrid work arrangement in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or finance certificate preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Pastel and Sage knowledge.
• 3-4 years of solid bookkeeping experience on Sage Pastel.
• Experience in debtors and creditors processing and reconciliation.
• Experience in bank statement reconciliation.
• Excel and Word skills required.

• Payroll responsibilities for 45 staff via Sage Payroll.

Bookkeeper Stellenbosch

Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper in Stellenbosch with 3-4 years’ experience in taking the books to Trial Balance, Processing, debtors, creditors, recons, vat, assist with payroll on SAGE and Simple pay. This bookkeeper will report to the accountant.

Salary Negotiable – Hybrid role

Requirements:

· Grade 12 -bookkeeping / finance certificate an added bonus

· Strong computer skills – PASTEL and assist on simple pay

· 3-4 years’ experience in solid bookkeeping on SAGE/Pastel

· Experience in Debtors and Creditors processing and reconciliation

· Experience in bank statement reconciliation

· Excel and Word skills, compulsory.

· Payroll assistance on SAGE payroll 45 staff (wages and permanents)

· SARS/Efiling EMP 201, 502 experience

· Vat calculations and assist with submissions
