Dante Personnel is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper in South Africa to provide senior bookkeeping support and assist with procurement administration. The role covers local and foreign bank reconciliations, debtor/creditor management, and month-end processes in a growing business.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with foreign payments or procurement administration.

Qualificações

• Matric with bookkeeping or accounting qualification.
• 5+ years bookkeeping experience including debtors, creditors and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with foreign payments, imports, or procurement administration.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage local and foreign bank reconciliations and foreign supplier payments.
• Handle debtor discounting, credit insurance and customer credit applications.
• Review debtor and creditor reconciliations, allocations and payments.
• Assist with month-end reporting, expense schedules and audit preparation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicate payments and unallocated receipts.
• Manage foreign purchase orders, supplier quotations and goods received notes.
• Track supplier shipments, delivery dates and outstanding documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, banks, freight agents and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and improve administrative processes.
